Hundreds & Thousands - Spring / Summer 2010

Sara Shimasué's debut collection is built around the idea of geometry and structure juxtaposed with softness and flow. Summer fairs, ice-cream shades, candy floss, origami and crystals are some of the inspirations that infiltrated the concept of this collection. The range consists of stunning hand-pleated pieces where fabric has been manipulated like paper, alongside draped & twisted garments as well as sturdier  denim constructions. Colours range from silver to dusky pink, vanilla cream and mint green, lending a playful, summery feel to an ultimately wearable and versatile collection.
